John A. Albino<\/strong> has over \n 40 years experience in industry including 33 years in Swedish owned companies \n in the United States.<\/p>\n\n

Mr. \n Albino’s career began in project engineering and spanned assignments \n as chief engineer, sales manager, and general manager in high-growth \n operations, culminating in the position of President and CEO \n of U.S. operations.<\/p>\n\n

Beginning \n in 1965 with Stal-Laval Marine Propulsion Systems, he has \n accumulated a unique back-ground of hands-on experience in \n international business.<\/p>\n\n

In \n 1985 he became president of ASEA Hagglunds Inc. responsible \n for all US operations including Hagglunds Drives, Vehicle, \n and Crane operations. During this time he played a key roll \n in negotiating and securing orders for over $250 million USD \n in military tracked vehicles and logistical ship deck cranes \n to the US military.<\/p>\n\n

In \n the years 1988 through 1990 he was president and CEO of Hagglunds-Denison \n Hydraulic Piston Pump Division in Columbus, Ohio. During this \n time he lead a successful recapitalization of the company. \n The key elements of his successful strategy were eliminating \n unprofitable SKUs, modernizing machinery and processes methodology, \n and updating the pricing structure.<\/p>\n\n

From \n 1990 to 1993, Mr. Albino was lead strategist and negotiator \n for a combine Hagglunds\/MacGregor joint venture to supply \n cargo handling equipment to the U.S. Navy. This was a world-wide \n competition where he was successful in winning the contract \n for the largest single order in the combined companies’ history. \n The order approximated one-quarter of a billion USD. The subsequent \n management and execution of the contract earned all timing, \n quality, and delivery bonuses and awards.<\/p>\n\n

From \n 1993 to 1999, Mr. Albino was CEO of American operations of \n the combined companies of Hagglunds and MacGregor, subsequently \n named MacGregor USA. After securing the largest contract in \n the long history of the company, he turned his attention toward \n developing a passenger ship division of MacGregor USA in Miami \n Florida. Today, that division enjoys a commanding leadership \n position in the cruise ship elevator business, and it is growing \n with the industry expansion.<\/p>\n\n

Mr. \n Albino’s experience includes start-ups, acquisitions, restructuring \n and recapitalization, turn-around management, defense sales, \n and alliance and team building for rapid growth situations.<\/p>\n\n

Mr. \n Albino holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from \n New York State Maritime College. And an advanced degree in \n nuclear engineering.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
