John M. Szabo has over 20 years experience as management and systems consultant with Coopers & Lybrand where he gained international experience, and later, with Mercer Management Consulting of New York City, New York.
His assignments have ranged from the development and implementation of the information systems to support the National Asbestos Claims Facility, to serving as the executive vice president of a major property and casualty insurance company where he successfully lead a turn-around team.
On a more recent assignment, Mr. Szabo was interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a $7 billion dollar pension administration and benefits provider. Within this assignment, he successfully lead a business process and management restructuring program, a systems hardware and software modernization program, and a Y2K legacy systems migration.
Mr. Szabo is a project management specialist. He successfully forms and leads cross-functional project teams and organizes them for action in high-growth environments. He measurably improves the performance of project teams and the outcomes of their projects. He also provides leading-edge behavioral-based merger and acquisition services to investment banking and privately held acquisition firms.
Mr. Szabo holds degrees in business and computer science from the University of Toledo.
